If you’ve ever wished that your rice, quinoa, pilaf – or even popcorn! – came out light and fluffy, the Rice Bonnet is here to help. Based on an age-old Persian device called a damkoni designed to catch steam as it rises in the pot, this sturdy double-layered cloth soaks up condensation as grains cook, giving them a texture that's airy and dry. Just slip the Bonnet around the underside of any conventional size pot lid then cover and cook your grains as usual. Our brightly colored Bonnets are made using fiber reactive, low impact dyes that are food safe and long lasting. The fabrics themselves are produced with the highest standards of both environmental impact and social responsibility.

Colors
Natural, Red, Navy, Plum

Size

The Rice Bonnet is available in two sizes: 12 inches in diameter, and 7 inches in diameter

Materials
55% Sustainable Hemp, 45% Lyocell

Care
Hand wash or machine wash in cold or warm water with like colors. Stretch around pot lid and allow to air dry. Rice Bonnets are prewashed to prevent shrinking.
