Persian Coffee Time

We are so excited to bring you this beautiful coffee set! It represents the Iranian passion for hospitality, which often takes the form of entertaining guests over a cardamom-infused beverage and bite-sized sweets. The set includes a 12 oz bag of ground coffee beans mixed with cardamom seeds, a 2-oz bottle of date syrup, and two dozen of our handmade nokhodchi chickpea flour cookies.

The magical flavor combination of cardamom and coffee is beloved throughout Central Asia and the Middle East. We make our cardamom coffee with single origin cardamom grown in Guatemala on a biodynamic farm, and organic, Fair Trade Café Femenino coffee also grown in Mexico: Café Femenino pays women coffee farmers directly, and supports them in developing business initiatives, so every purchase helps a woman coffee farmer to thrive.

Finally, date syrup is a rich, thick sweetener made purely from dates that tastes great with cardamom coffee but also with yogurt, fruit, granola, ice cream, or anywhere that you would use maple syrup.
